Abstract

In recent years, welding workpieces have been diversified into various kinds such as chrome-free plating steel sheet and load voltage applied to welding electrodes has been increasing. There are examples that copper alloy electrode life shortens, and joining quality is not stable. Under such a specific severe welding condition, the cases which Tungsten, Molybdenum system materials are used for as electrode materials increase and those materials have contributed to make the lifetime of electrodes longer.

近年、抵抗溶接において、メッキ鋼板のクロムフリー化等に代表されるように、被溶接物も多様化してきており、電極へ掛かる負荷も大きくなってきている。従来の銅合金電極では電極寿命が短くなったり、接合品質が安定しないといった事例もある。そのような特定の過酷な溶接条件下では、W、Mo系材料が電極材料として用いられるケースが増えてきており、電極の長寿命化などに実績を上げている。
