An investigation was carried out to give static dissipativity to ceramics. As the results, semi-conductive ceramics could be obtained by dispersing SiC or TiO2 to insulating oxide as Al2O3 or ZrO2. Additionally, it was possible to control electrical resistivity of these semi-conductive ceramics without difficulty by adjusting the additional ratio of these dispersed particles. These semi-conductive ceramics also shows excellent mechanical properties, and is appropriate for materials used for accessories or manufacturing jigs of electro static discharge sensitivity items.
