Abstract

To analyze the sintering process of tungsten compacted powders, shrinkage data had been calculated from the difference in shape between green compact and its sintered body, while electrical currents and voltage for direct current heating were continuously measured in the sintering process.
In this study, continuous measurement of shrinkage in the sintering process has become available. These data have opened the way to more detailed analysis of the sintering process.
