This study examined the generation of an isothermal electromotive force in bonding materials consisting of CrSi2 and CrSi2-xAlx. The samples were prepared by hot-press sintering and analyzed in terms of crystal structure, Seebeck coefficient, and resistivity. The results indicated that the bonded samples exhibit a distinct interface devoid of Al diffusion, with a positively charged CrSi2 side and a negatively charged CrSi2-xAlx side. The electromotive force was observed to increase in proportion to the composition difference, peaking at approximately 400 C.
