In 1986 the NT Die Cutter was first developed by NIPPON TUNGSTEN CO., LTD as the ultimate carbide rotary cutter for sanitary products such as napkins and diapers. Since its release, over 1000 sets of the NT Die Cutters have been provided to many customers all over the world, and have not only expanded our business field to new applications such as metal films but also have enjoyed a very high reputation as a high performance carbide rotary cutter as a result of our continuous improvement activities. The NT Die Cutter is a carbide rotary cutter created by our unique technology: powder metallurgy, machining and design engineering. This paper details the characteristics, designing criteria, technological backgrounds and service system of the NT Die Cutter.
